Theme: Leadership matters

CALU is synonymous with leadership. Through our membership, we are leaders across the country and in our own communities. Leaders in insurance, in business, in estate planning. We are mentors, we are advocates, and we lead by example.

Which is why we are pleased to announce that the theme of the 2022 Conference & AGM is “Leadership matters | Le leadership, ça compte.” AGM chair Kelly Adams and the AGM Committee are preparing an exciting program that delves into the importance of leadership and what it means to be a leader in today’s world. COVID-19

Despite the current status of the pandemic, we remain optimistic that we will be able to welcome you in-person in Ottawa for this signature event. We are both closely monitoring the public health situation and we are working on a hybrid component for those of you would like to attend virtually. Stay tuned over the coming weeks for further details, including registration, which will be made available once we have a clearer picture of the event format.

Regional meetings

Connect with other leaders and discuss matters affecting your business and clients. Our regional meetings are open to all members and provide timely technical updates, key strategic government policy initiatives, and member updates. Regional Meetings will not be held in 2021 due to the ongoing pandemic.

Associates’ meeting

The annual Associates Meeting, open to all members, features technical workshops designed to be of special interest and value to our Associates. These meetings provide our members with timely tax and other technical updates tailored to their distinct needs. For 2021, the Associates’ Meeting has been incorporated into the virtual 2021 Fall Conference due to the ongoing pandemic.
