CALU has recently written to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) asking for further clarification relating to the CRA’s responses to questions posed by CALU at the 2012 CALU AGM CRA Roundtable regarding ownership of life insurance in a spousal trust. We will keep members advised of the response we receive to this letter.
