On March 21, 2013, the Minister of Finance released proposals relating to leveraged insured annuities (LIAs) as part of the 2013 Budget. CALU has now completed its submission to the Department of Finance and a copy is posted here for your information. However, given the importance of this issue, the content of the submission is also being reprinted in the June 2013 issue of CALU Report to facilitate the distribution of the information by CALU members to their centres of influence.
