Ryan is responsible for leading Canada Life’s Large Case Services team – a team of actuarial marketing, investment, financial underwriting and illustration (LifeLine) experts that are focused on providing exceptional service to Canada Life’s leading insurance advisors and their customers.

Ryan came to the insurance team in 2021 after spending 16 years at GLC Asset Management, where he served as Vice-President, Equities. At GLC, he was responsible for managing several public equity funds, including the $2.5 billion Laketon Canadian Value fund, which included about $900 million of par account assets.

Ryan graduated from Dalhousie University with an undergraduate degree in Commerce and earned an MBA from Wilfred Laurier University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
