Louise Roy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Ottawa, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences from the Université du Québec à Hull and is a Chartered Professional Accountants.

Louise began her career with national public accounting firms and later joined the CRA where she held various positions within the Income Tax Rulings Directorate. She is presently the Director of the Financial Industries and Trusts Division. During the pandemic, Louise was the acting Director of the Business and Employment Division where she dealt, among others, with the COVID-19 measures. Through her career, she held various manager and officer positions in the Business and Partnership Section and in the Financial Industries and Trusts Section where she gained expertise in subject such as trusts, deferred plans, financial products, charitable organizations and charitable gifts.
