With over three decades dedicated to the fields of life insurance and wealth advisory, Iqbal has established himself as a reputable figure, embodying roles that extend beyond professional titles.

Born in Burma and subsequently traversing through East and West Pakistan, Iqbal eventually found his home in Canada, where he founded AMIRI Wealth Management, Inc., in 1991. As the President and CEO of the firm, he takes pride in offering sound financial advice rooted in education, knowledge, and extensive experience. Iqbal’s commitment to his clients is deeply personal, drawing on his own life’s journey and the challenges he has overcome to connect with and assist those he serves.

An avid proponent of lifelong learning, Iqbal has actively pursued educational opportunities throughout his career. From completing the LUATC program in 1994 to being among the first to finish the EPC program in Alberta, he has continually sought to enhance his expertise. His educational journey spans various prestigious institutions, including Simon Fraser University, the Ivey Executive Program in London Ontario, Stanford University, University of Cambridge, and at Harvard University. Currently accepted into Harvard Law for the Mediation Intensive Program, Iqbal looks forward to further expanding his knowledge and skills.

To share his insights and experiences, Iqbal has taken the stage as a Keynote Speaker at an advisor forum for a major insurance company and served as a panelist at the CALU conference in Ottawa. Currently, he volunteers at the Government Relations Committee at CALU, showcasing his commitment to community engagement.
