Open finance masterclass: How data rights can empower Canadian consumers and SMEs

Open banking has become a global movement being adopted in countries such as the UK, Australia, and Brazil. It has enabled consumers and small businesses to be in control of their own financial data, resulting in new and innovative products that are more affordable, personalized, convenient and secure. Open Finance is the next step beyond Open Banking, expanding data rights to the wealth and insurance industry allowing consumers to have an even greater insight into their financial lives. This evolution will allow Banks, Fintechs and Credit Unions to build even more customized products that will help to drive additional cost savings for their businesses as well as provide their consumers with deeper insights into their finances.

Join this session to learn from Future of Finance expert and TedX speaker Michelle Beyo on what is Open Banking and Open Finance, what are the top potential use cases, and what it could mean for your business.
