Behavioural finance: Embracing investor behaviour
Seeking insight and techniques to help clients stick to their long-term investment plan and avoid jeopardizing the long-term health of their wealth? Particularly during times of uncertainty or market volatility? Join us for a look at some of the most common human behaviors – such as loss aversion, herding, overconfidence, and familiarity bias – and how these behaviors influence clients’ investment decisions. We will also discuss particular techniques advisors can utilize to potentially create better investment outcomes for clients by helping them stay on track toward their goals.
Nancy Fahmy is a Senior Director for the Business Solutions Group in Russell Investments’ Advisory & Intermediary Solutions Portfolio & Business Consulting Group. In this role, Nancy delivers strategic business planning and ongoing consulting to investment advisors across the U.S. and Canada.
This workshop is organized by the Wealth Creation & Management Issue Group.
