Prior to joining Tompkins insurance, Florence was the Head of Tax, Retirement & Estate Planning at Manulife. Over her 34-year career at Manulife, she developed her reputation as a nationally recognized expert on life insurance, tax and estate planning.

Florence is a co-editor of the Canadian Taxation of Life Insurance, currently in its 11th edition, and Editor-in-Chief of Insurance Planning, both published by Thomson Reuters. She is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners and the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting.

Florence is a frequent speaker and author at these and many other organizations.

In her new role at Tompkins, Florence will continue her active involvement in the tax and estate planning community and be a resource to professionals in the field for our valued clients.
