CALU Resource Group

  • CALU also offers members whose interests and skills lie in areas not covered by Committees, or who may not want to participate in them, an opportunity to join CALU’s evergreen “Resource Group.”
  • CALU may call on some of those volunteers for their expertise on a particular subject on an ad hoc basis (e.g., to respond to government consultations). Conversely, members of the Resource Group may bring particular issues relating to their area of expertise to CALU’s attention for consideration.
  • These areas include but are not limited to:
    • Employee Benefits
    • Living Benefits
    • Wealth Management
    • Philanthropy

The Resource Group does not have a set meeting schedule. Members will be consulted as required and meetings may occur on an ad hoc basis.

Members may join or withdraw their interest to serve at anytime.

Eligibility and how to serve as a volunteer

  • CALU members from all membership categories may serve on Committees and the Resource Group.
  • Members are invited to submit their interest in 14 specific areas which will eventually be covered by Committees for the new program year ending in April 2027. Deadline: Monday May 25.
  • Members must reapply to serve on Committees, and an expression of interest does not guarantee a space on the corresponding Committee(s) once established.
  • Members who wish to serve on the Resource Group must identify their area(s) of expertise and interest. Space is unlimited. Apply or withdraw anytime.
