Updated September 2024

  1. Registration entitles participants to attend the entire event, as well as obtain participant materials, CE certificates (subject to approval), meals (in person registrants only) and access to on demand videos for a limited period. Registration does not include accommodations, non-program related meals, travel or any other expenses that may be incurred by participants.
  2. CALU will make all reasonable efforts to secure Continuing Education (CE) course approval for the event from the following jurisdictions: Institute for Advanced Financial Education (Advocis), FP Canada, Insurance Council of British Columbia, Alberta Insurance Council, Insurance Councils of Saskatchewan, Insurance Council of Manitoba, Chambre de la sécurité financière (Québec), Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (MFDA), Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA). Please note that CALU cannot guarantee CE course approval, nor the quantity of CE credits to be allocated.
  3. In order to receive CE certificates (subject to course approval), participants must attend or watch each session in its entirety and follow additional directions such as those relating to scanning in and out of sessions, using their real names and email addresses associated with their CALU membership in the virtual event platform or answering skill-testing questions. These are requirements imposed by the accrediting agencies.
  4. Registration fees must be paid online by credit card (VISA or MasterCard) at the time of registration. Any bank charges for disputed credit card charges must be paid by the participant and not CALU. Registration fees for events are subject to applicable taxes based on the province of the event. CALU will send a confirmation email after full payment has been received and processed.
  5. Transfers to other individuals are permitted subject to CALU membership and guest policy requirements. Participants who can no longer attend in person will be switched to online registration. No refunds will be offered.
