CALU has joined with other important players in the health and health insurance space as part of the Together for Better Health coalition. Together for Better Health is committed to informing Canadians about alternatives to a universal single-payer pharmacare system. It promotes the wisdom of ensuring coverage for all who need it by keeping and building on the coverage that is already working for 26 million Canadians.
The initiative features a social media campaign called Keep My Plan, which urges Canadians who like the plan they have now to visit keepmyplan.ca and let their Member of Parliament know they want choice in pharmacare. The campaign message is that the government should focus on those who need help and let everyone else keep their current prescription drug coverage.
