CALU’s Submission on Retirement Income

For most, if not all, Canadians, the challenge of saving for retirement, and ensuring an adequate income during their retirement years, is one of the most significant issues they face during their lifetime. In representing the interests of its members, and their clients, CALU has prepared observations and recommendations which reflect a realistic, and targeted, approach to refining and improving the Canadian retirement system. Central to all of these suggestions, is the confirmation that the role of a financial adviser is fundamental to the goals of financial literacy, protection and planning.
