President and Co-Founder | Davlyn Financial Services
David Reeve’s career began with a promise he made to himself after losing his father. A devoted family man and tireless worker, David’s dad dreamed of retiring at 65 and traveling the world—but cancer took him at 64, after only two vacations. At his packed memorial service, David realized that true success is measured by the lives you touch, not by titles or paycheques. That lesson drives everything he does today.
For more than 30 years David has helped clients—especially successful business owners and professionals within a decade of retirement—design “work-optional” lifestyles through disciplined retirement-income planning, tax-efficient investing, and insurance strategies. In 2008 he and his wife, Linzie, co-founded Davlyn Financial Services with a single focus: advocate for clients, educate them, and simplify the path to lasting financial security.
When he isn’t crafting retirement strategies, you’ll find David traveling with Linzie, doting on their daughters and two grandchildren, or pursuing his passions for travel, fishing, photography, and their energetic dog, Gus. Together, the Reeve family supports several local and national charities each year.
